....Are responsible for this loss. Clifford played really bad. The DBs, TCF especially played horrible. TCF was peaking in at the QB and let the WR run right by him and catch the ball for a TD. Reid cost us at least 3:00 minutes and great field position with his pass interference. 3rd and really long Minny pinned inside their own 5 yrd line and Reid has a costly PI. Minny would have to punt the ball and we would have got the ball around mid field at least. Instead Minny was able to run 3 precious minutes off the clock cause of Reids horrible PI.
This one people will overlook or forget. Minny's flea flicker. Marquis Wilson completely left his man go and ran to the middle of the field to cover another WR that was ALREADY COVERED!! He didn't bite on the flea flicker thinking it's a run, but just left his man wide open for a long completion.
Than we have the ball 2nd and goal from the Minny's 7 needing a TD. Rahne calls a hand off. Next play was the worst costly call, 3rd and 5. Than Rahne goes to his favorite play he can't get away from. He runs Clifford up the middle!! That was as bad a call as 4th and 5 from the OSU game last year. Than on 4th down we throw a very low percentage fade to a tiny WR in Hamler. The play calling NOT THE EXECUTION cost us a TD.
