Last night. Thought he did a fantastic job of staying in the pocket AS WELL AS going through his progressions. He didn't seem to stare down Hamler and passed to many of his other receivers. Thought he really matured last night.

In the second half he got happy feet and started staring down receivers.

We didn’t need him to run in this one. I think we were saving him - he was huge stitching drives together with his feet earlier.

yeah there were some times that he gave the ball off and if he'd have kept it there was room to run

His first half was amazing.

His second half, not so good. That happens with young QBs.

I am sure he will admit to brain lock on the INT, but the conditions were awful and the staff asked him to perform in the passing game when we would have been better off running the ball.

He won the game though. He beat a team and QB we have had major issues against.

Give him a B+. Very good in a monsoon.

Good points. I think he deserves a ton of credit for how well he threw and performed in the rain. He did better than any other qb I watched playing in similar weather conditions, like Patterson or ND's qb or Lewerke.

I thought he looked awesome, esp. given the conditions. And Blackledge, a former QB who played in some nasty weather, was very complimentary with the way Clifford was throwing the ball in those conditions.

Agree...progressing very nicely!

MSU has a really good D-line and the offensive line handle them pretty well that is a good sign going forward.

Yes the OL isn't getting a lot of attention but they're getting better every week. Walker and Fries were really handling their guys well.
