Was in Atlanta over weekend to attend Big South HS volleyball tourney and walked over to the nearby College Football HOF for visit. Struck by the near invisible treatment of JoePa. I guess I should not be surprised but it was a little weird knowing a man once regarded as the greatest college coach of all time, the all times win and bowl win leader, was hardly visible. Penn State was mostly an after thought also. R C. Slocum was seen in a number of places, as a point of comparison. Not one quote, game highlight, reference to records, or suitable picture could be found of Joe. The sadness of this state of affairs remains palpable. Even in the section where you can look up all the Penn State members of the HOF Joe's likeness is very small compared to Rip and other PSU notables.

That is unfortunate, but not unexpected. Erickson, Peetz, Joyner, Masser, Suhey, Deviney, Myers, Surma, Dambly, Lubert, Alexander, Garban, Riley, Broadhurst, Frazier, and all the rest of their cronies, rushed to judgment and destroyed the reputation and legacy of a good and honorable man. They are all despicable.

I was there when it was in South Bend.

There was loads Paterno material. Wonder what has become of it.
