Fwiw if he qualified academically for Pitt he did for PSU. That said PSU may not have matched his offer!!! Pitt was handing out slot of money back in the day !!!!

He was offered by PSU but he was NOT recruited. the qualifications are Not the same at Pitt and PSU. The "minimum" NCAA requirements are the same.
