Damn, we lost our kicker

Crap. This sucks.

Well at lest I won't have to worry about the Skellar closing down so I can always go there and drink my sorrows away.

Glad The Skeller cuts the mustard for you.

skp - did you skIp a week?

By the way, we also “lost” a running back.
Sounds like Barbir and Robinson either went out in the woods together and haven't been found or they went out on a ship and are now lost at sea.

Alex Barbir leaves and Antwan Reed decommits both within a few hours. What a start to the day. Well, as long as Andre Robinson doesn't transfer we're still good.
I heard from two viable sources that Justin Fields is visiting Georgia. Should we be worried?

I think you meant, PSU lost one of its kickers. Still have several walk-ons and Pinegar ready to sign.

If necessary, Franklin could recruit someone from the women's soccer team.

We didn't lose him, he was processed as was Robinson.
I thought he was having a hard time getting some of the players to attendg his bible study group, so he was headed to a school with "real" Christinan values

Transfer? Other than Hostetler backing up and then ready to take over for Bkackledge nothing could be more solid than Robinson sticking around.

What people don't realize is that Blake Gillikin was one of the top place kickers in Georgia when he was in HS. Many schools were recruiting him as a PK. Academics was a priority for him thus he chose PSU.

I still don't understand the why for Robinson. Performance wise (I undersand Sanders has the long-term better potential), I think he was second to Barkley.

He said he want's to go an environment that's positive, uplifting, and and environment where he'll be influenced in positive ways. He wants to pursue a business degree (PSU has a good program). He makes it sound as though PSU didn't meet those requirements.

The writing was on the wall once we offered Pinegar. Barbir sounds bitter but that could just be my interpretation.

Didn't help when he missed a 53 1/3 yard wide target while kicking from the middle of it

I would not be surprised if JF and Barbir had talks before the schollie offer went out to Pinegar and there was a question about either his skills or desire to be at PSU, or even play Power 5 football.
