Based on the 4th Q performance of the defense against Nebraska and the number of graduating seniors it looks like there is a lot of work for next year. When you look at the offensive skill players this year and all their records and ability we have to wonder if PSU did not miss a golden opportunity this year. The two loses by 4 points total were terrible but you have to say the defense underperformed when they needed to. Lots of comments about the O line and running game but the two losses fell on the defense giving up to much ground in the passing game late in the game vs OSU and MSU. I think the biggest challenge next year will be on the defensive side of the ball. Also have to say McSorley is an excellent qb. He is tough, never gives up, and has done a great job of running the offense this year. He deserves a lot of credit.
