Did Imar disrespect Cenzo? Did he lose because of it?

I seems like Imar has regressed (or at least not improved) since his freshman year. Not taking anything away from joseph, but freshman year Imar was an animal. Other than JAmes Green no one could match his athleticism and explosiveness. He won a tough class that year (Ness, Green, Realbuto).

I don't know if he's bought into his own hype or if the room isn't good enough to push him. But during his freshman year, I remember telling a friend that he was going to be the best of all time. He's still great but the field has closed the gap on him big time

It's pretty simple and one of the reasons why PSU continues to roll. Room depth is the key to constant improvement! You need to be pushed daily by wrestler with different styles to maximize your potential.

PSU has depth, IL does not. I'm sure IMar works his ass off every day as he seems like that kind of kid but is he getting training that prepares him for the style differences between, say, a Nolf and a Cenzo in the IL room?

This is a really good point. I'm sure IMar trains with Brunson and Parker, who are fine wrestlers, no disrespect intended. But when Cenzo is rolling around with Cunningham, Nolf, Hall, and Nickal, who do you think is getting more out of their practice time?

Yeah, I have to disagree. When a move like that incurs a momentary pause, or said another way, momentum is stopped in its tracks...it becomes a muscle move to finish it/follow thru. But, being that I'm always looking to learn, I'm going to try it both ways on my wife (I think you've seen her pictures) tomorrow and will report back in a timely manner!
Ya know what, I just looked at the video again, Dogwelder, and may have to admit I was wrong on this. Remember when Fonzie had to admit he was wrrrr...rrrr....rrrong - it's kinda like that.
There's actually two attempts at the move - the first one is not set up well and gets stopped in its tracks. Cenzo then circles left to set it up and in one continual motion, executes. And you're right, it had the set up, finesse, momentum, and dare I say, power(almost too much of it), to ruin a camera loving Illinois coach's evening!
