It appears that Nelson Agholor, Jordan Howard, Derek Barnett, and Lane Johnson are amongst the players that will be inactive today.

@sluggo72, Big V at RT does worry me.

Fortunately, the Redskins offensive is not all that effective.

Go Birds.

Why? Big V is a good player. I hope the Eagles extend him, if they don't, he'll make some coin on the open market. Especially if he signs a 1 yr deal, starts a LT for a year, he get a good contract. BTW. who is G Sua Opeta, and why is he on the 55???
Big V is the least of worries. A second round pick being the Old man in the receivers room is more of a concern.

Bite your tongue as the Skins inept offense is driving on its first possession.

He was on the Birds' practice squad. Players on the practice squad can be signed by other teams, as long as they go on that team's 55-man roster. Miami was about to sign Opeta, and the Birds didn't want to lose him, so they released Mac Hollins and elevated Opeta to the 55.

I should add that it happened @ 13 days ago

Well, they held, went down the field for like 18 plays, got a FG and Redskins just hit on a 75 yard TD. 7-3

And the ‘skins might hire Urban Meyer.

Ugh on that TD pass. Urban would be an awful hire in DC. Awful.

So we traded Mac Hollins for a OG?? Basically

The Eagles score after a long drive. 10-7 Philly. Wentz and Co are moving the ball today.

The Eagles defense actually gets worse each week. How’s that possible given how bad they’ve been?

lack of pressure from the DLine is the biggest problem, IMHO. Combine that with DBs that are not great at coverage, and it's a problem. Schwartz usually masks this with disguising his package, and bringing unexpected pressure. Experienced QBs (like Fitzpatrick and Eli in recent weeks) are not often fooled by this. I expected Haskins to have trouble picking up what Schwartz throws at him, but so far that hasn't been the case.

More pressure is always good. Tackling the receiver for no YAC would be helpful

Don’t worry. Now that the Redskins see that they can score against the Eagles defense by throwing long, they won’t go back to it for the rest of the game.:eek: ;)

Here’s hoping ur correct

Good to see the Redskins not giving up on the season. Their first touchdown was a busted play but the second touchdown pass was excellent, a very high-skill play. The Eagles played it as well as it could have been played.

It’s a tough sport, full of high-level players. Everyone wants to win and no team is going to roll over. I’m enjoying the game, especially since I’m just this less of a Dallas hater than I am a Redskins supporter, I guess.

Also very nice to see MS playing well.

Here’s to a good, clean second half, no injuries, and a Redskins win.

I’m starting to wonder how I can best tape up my ankles because I’m close to jumping off the Wentz bandwagon. I realize he has very little to work with in this WR group but even a complete football ignoramous like me can see lack of fundamentals.

Fundamentals like receivers that can catch? Receivers that can separate? Receivers that create space??

Maybe Wentz just needs a good slap on the butt.....?

Fundamentals like delivering a pass on target. He had Ertz open and threw it high and slightly wide. Announcers said Ertz should have had it. Maybe but the throw was off and so were several others. The pass that Whiteside dropped in the end zone was late and inside giving the DB a chance to get a finger on it.
