Hey dicemen99, any way you might add HS graduating class to the spreadsheet? Right now the only date is entering class but it would be neat to see HS grad class too as greyshirts before enrollment seem to be a thing.

Not sure that's all that necessary. We usually do not know if someone is grayshirting until they don't appear on the updated roster in the fall. In situations like this, Dice has moved the grayshirts from the college Freshman column to the column that equates with HS seniors, for even though they have graduated from HS, from an eligibility perspective they are still treated as HS seniors.

If prospects were labeled by HS graduating class, there still would be problems. For example, how would Nick Lee be handled? He's the equivalent of a HS senior this year, but is working out in State College with the NLWC. In addition, he completed his classes online, and graduated in December, 2016. So if you indicate him as part of the 2016 class, most would assume that he graduated in June 2016. If you put him as part of the 2017 class, most would assume that he graduated in June of 2017. Both assumptions would be wrong, even though he's more of a class of 2017 than a class of 2016.

Just my 2 cents.

Thats kinda my point, looking at the spreadsheet you wouldn't know that Manville graduated HS in 2016 (did he graduate in 2016?). And then like when Mormons take their two years, their enrollment is delayed too. It would just be neat to have that comparable. But if its too much trouble, no worries, just a thought I had.

My view is the same as Tom's. The spreadsheet is an excellent tool for Penn State fans wanting to know the eligibility status of current wrestlers and recruits, and even highlights verbal commitments/NLI's. Doesn't hurt, I guess, but knowing a kid's graduation year isn't critical since dice moves the wrestler to his new eligibility year...just my thoughts.

Minor quibble. Extra information is good, and it's great to keep proposing new features, but there is a cost in clutter/overload. So, it does hurt a little.

We only have 2 greyshirts that I know of. I altered the spreadsheet the spreadsheet to include their HS grad date (2016). When they enroll, I'll remove it - not sure that information has any relevance once they start their clock ticking. This is the case with Wissler. He's has JR eligibility according to the information available, graduating in 2008 and then serving in the military (I think).

That's great, I didn't know AJ was greyshirting. Thank you.

Nice, clean problem-solving! Add the info for only the 2 guys and avoid clutter with everyone else.
