Either he realizes how back of the situation is at Oklahoma State or he is there to funnel the u17 wrestlers back to Stilly. Either way this is big news.

John, Coleman and crew will never make OkieSt a top program again. Not until they stop recruiting criminals and people who don't like "to do school."
Seems like kind of an LJ Sr situation.
Long time assistant doesn't get the head position. New guy coming in probably isn't thrilled with the idea of the decade-long assistant to the now-departed coach still being there. Long time assistant probably isn't thrilled to be working for "the new guy".
Maybe moving on is just best for everyone and it's not really indictment of anything.
