Ferrari and related drama thread

Who said he wasn't at fault for passing in a double yellow all im saying is I bet 90% of the people here have done that in their lifetime and got lucky. Hypocrites make me laugh
I never understood why adults continue to give other adults a pass when they are obviously bedrock stupid. This guy has proven he cannot construct himself as a responsible adult. Here is to hoping he moves to AZ and becomes your night shooting neighbor. My bro lives in Tucson and night shooting is not one of activities. I will say you daresome go out in the scrub at night without a gun. Even the plants out there want to kill you.

Man I hope my criminal record never gets exposed lol

Just now got caught up on this thread. I love how it transitions from AJ's injury to stupid sh*t we did when we were younger. I was married at age 18 so I never really had a chance to do anything stupid but I did do a lot of stuff that pissed my wife off. In fact, after more than 50 years of wedded bliss it still comes back to haunt me. Let this be a lesson to you gents, they're all from the same mold and they NEVER forget.

I cant say anything one way or the other in regards to AJ's injury but It's my understanding that most wrestlers are dinged up this time of year.

In my opinion, that young man is a ticking time-bomb just waiting to go off and sadly, it may end in tragedy. That boy deserves every bit of scrutiny he receives from this forum.

I'm letting you guys know in advance. I really, really want three things:

Greg beats Gable.
Josh beats AJ
'Carter beats Gabe

If this happens, I will be insufferably happy.

The question is if AJ is hurt again and not just quack, quack., how likely is it the ego lifting and general stupidity (like the flying leap onto the boxes in the Hawk's room last year) were the cause ?

Wasn't caused from lifting. And he will probably wrestle both matches this weekend and be ready for conferences.

Even if you know for sure that he was injured in practice or in a bout or slipped on a banana peel- that's a hard thing to say, because doing stupid stuff with weights (trust me, I'm kind of an expert) can cause strains or imbalances that cause things to happen in other areas-but the real cause is excess weight, bad form, etc.

You know how Tom Ryan is always bragging about his wrestler's lifts-most recently, Feldman-who is hurt again?

Sometimes I think a sufficient part of Cael's success is knowing not to be concentrating on PR lifts like other coaches.

Glazier beats Ferrari in Round 1.

There's no way Ferrari hurt himself lifting. He only does 5% range of motion.

I'll be honest here. In my younger years, I did some really dumb things that would be competitive with AJ's list. (but no sexual assault!) Most of the time, the events were preceded by the consumption of alcohol. Consequently, I stopped drinking alcohol and my poor judgment abruptly disappeared. Strange how that works.

I once tried to kick a 55 gal. Barrel back at my friend who rolled it downhill at me under the influence of a drink we called Purple Passion.

Not too may years ago two of my grandsons(who were in college at the time) were sharing their tales of parties and willing women and what not. Knowing that I was married to their grandmother when I was in college they asked me if I ever missed the rowdy times and running around and chasing co-eds on the weekends. My immediate response was a resounding "no". However, once their grandmother left the room I told them the truth.

I quit for 10 years after the legendary “pinhead incident” in downtown Iowa City the last night of classes, Spring 1991.

We thought we were going to have an annual "everclear night" - Everclear and Mt Dew Code Red.

We only ever had the FIRST, annual everclear night.
One of the frats at my alma mater had the first frat party of the year (every year I was there) and served purple passion. Guess they figured they'd ease folks into binge drinking.

Every September, we had Grain Fest on my dorm floor in West Halls. Mostly grain punch out of a cooler.

Next door neighbor, probably 150-lb average build guy but a party animal, did a grain shot and immediately ran to the bathroom with dry heaves. Scary sight.

Everybody knows if you do straight grain, you'll go blind!

I also remember going to the liquor store with a calculator to see what was the most alcohol per $.

Forty years later, I know God has a sense of humor, as I spend all day calculating dollars and....

Ended up being Ron Rico 151.

In Stewart Hall in the late 70's & early 80's we made "Moose Joice" for all tailgates and many parties! It was grain and a fruit punch concentrate and pineapple juice and cut up lemons and oranges. Pineapple juice hid the flavor of the grain.

Always fun to light the fumes in the bottle.

Man you guys were ambitious, we just dumped in Hawaiin Punch.

We also mixed it up in garbage bags lining the trash cans. Hard to think of that few mills of plastic separating us from who the hell knows what was in that can along with rust and paint chips.

Hopefully for you, she wasn't listening in the other room.
