Where did you see the lineup change?

ECHOED!

Can yinzers share links to the residences of such juicy goss please? Chickenman? Pretty please? Would love to read Papa Stroker's words as well.

Mizzu,ISU,UNI, or SDSU? I say Mizzu
Missouri has Levallee at 157 and Lewis at 165. Decent chance Stroker would sit next year.

Actually, Oklahoma makes a ton of sense. 157 Barnes is a JR, 165 Glass a SR. They could have Stroker and Barnes at those 2 weights next year while Demas shirts and lifts. And someone with freestyle aspirations could do a lot worse than Rosselli.

OU has a guy who came up from juco that beat Glass in the wrestle off redshirting right now. I don't think Barnes moves up

I'm just remembering back to the, "I hope we get him", and "I hope Iowa doesn't, that'd be the end of the world" type conversations that were going on here in regard to Stroker a few years ago.

It again makes me very appreciative at the tremendous job the PSU staff does at developing wrestlers. We are indeed fortunate!

That would be cruel, taking the shirts off the backs of impoverished third world children.
Well then, in that case, they have no choice, but to place an emergency order, for new NCAA Championships t-shirts immediately. If they rush, they might have them in time for our dual.

My top recruiting requirement: The kid isn't a head case (Downey, McCauley, etc) and he values an education.

I heard he was actually going to transfer to PSU, practice a few weeks for some inside info, then transfer to Rutgers and make us all poop a cruiseliner.

"Interesting...when I enter the dual into Wrestlestat it gives me 30-9. Minnesota victories predicted at 141, 197 and 285.
Slight difference between when Steen ran the dual in Wrestlestat and and just now when you did. I see that someone changed the starters for Minnesota, Zain now wrestling Brolsma instead of Stroker; Wrestlestat predicted a MD over Stroker but a fall over Brolsma, accounting for the two points. No idea whether Brolsma is actually going over Stroker."

I've always liked Fredy. He was a Fargo champ and was one of the top guys in the country. Then he went to Minne. I believe his Dad wanted him to leave Minnesota when it all went down...he didn't want to. Fredy got bigger in the summer and has had problems making 149 and feels like crap. Wanted to move up and they wouldn't let him wrestle off for 157. That's why the emphasis on 157 in his tweet.

That joke just never gets old :)

There's seldom a time that El Jefe misses an opportunity for a good cruiseliner-pooping crack, so I figured I'd pick him up tonight when he appeared to falter. ;)

I owe him a few dozen assists, anyway.

Thanks for the pickup. Actually got distracted by -- coincidentally enough -- Rutgers news: yesterday they hired a football coach from my hometown (was a year behind me in HS).

Mike Evans is not impressed by my ability to multi-task.

PS, you said "pooping crack."

Ha - I wondered how long it would take for someone to notice that.

Congrats to your former schoolmate. I hope for his sake that you have more compassion for Rutgers than for tOSU and Pitt.

I'll probably have to force myself to stop saying BTPR (Big Ten Powerhouse Rutgers), and stop posting the infamous ...

(Although that clearly pre-dated this news, so ...)

BTW, I have a similar connection to Pitt wrestling. I do feel bad for some of their wrestlers -- there are guys who do everything they're told, but the situation there is not conducive to meeting one's athletic goals.

If they are going to Pitt I hope like hell they are studying a life sciences or healthcare curriculum. They aren't learning wrestling, no sense not getting something out of the experience.;)

Azchief32 is spot on with this information. Look for Stroker to end up at Oklahoma or Virginia Tech. Wherever he lands, I wish him the best. He's a great kid!

I believe the wheels may be completely off the wagon for the Goofers. Sigh...jammenz..it was good to know thee.

Someone posted that the "flowers planted" analogy was used because Stroker got pinned so often.
