I sympathize with you (you seem like a good dude).. I used to like Notre Dame until I actually talked to a few of their fans (delusion is not a big turn on for me). ND could well be better, but you would think that ND is tOSU or Bama they way the talk, ND over 25 years is worse off than tOSU, PSU, UM, MSU, Wisky, Iowa. If you took the 3 best NW, Maryland, and Nebraska teams over the last 20 years they would probably be better than what Notre Dame's best 3 have put out there. I remember watching the year you got to play Bama.. Pitt just beat you all over the field at Notre Dame.. and they were SORRY.. that same Pitt team lost to Youngstown State and Syracuse.

Kelly is Mark Dantonio.. he needs under the radar thugs that are not gonna get into ND.. it's a terrible fit for both sides. Kelly (and Dantonio) could pull drug dealers off the street at UC and nobody would ever look twice... Kelly luckily got out before it caught up to him--- Dantonio at Michigan State was not so fortunate. PEnn State was on freaking sanctions with no depth!!.. the comparisons are apples to oranges.
I mean you have been on the big stage a handful of times. Not getting beat.. but destroyed. Games vs teams that would have beat you 8/10 times..
