It was an ugly win, but a win is a win!. We need to get our mojo back, and the loses to OSU and MSU took their tolls on us again like last season. We now have 3 really tough games in a row against Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin. I believe we will get our act together and can win all 3, but we MUST figure out how to stop giving away at least 5 yards on first down, and put together a solid win on both O and D. If we can't do that against Iowa, the Michigan game might be brutal in the Big House! I think we will take a respectable, hard fought win against Iowa. If so, we can win out, but please let's have our play calling and time management from our coaching staff help put us in the positions to win! It is easy to get frustrated, but after watching Purdue dismantle OSU, we all need to realize that the B1G is tough and unpredictable. That is why we must attack each game 1 at a time like CJF preaches. I wish he preached how to improve his and his assistant's coaching decisions too though! We miss Saquon's team leadership role he played, which covered up a lot of warts from last years team that has carried over into this season too. I don't see Trace or anyone else helping to boost our teams confidence anywhere as much as Saquon did. Please let's have somebody who leads by example step up. Some of our younger kids like Micah Parsons or KJ Hamler will likely do that next season, but players like Juwan Johnson, Polk, Scott or anyone else need to perform more steadily so they are taken seriously by the rest of the team!
