1. First of all, we won, so no need to fall off of cliffs because the score was close. Both OSU and Michigan almost lost to inferior teams today, and we were never in any real danger!
2. Our Offense was again looking lethargic, as Trace had another off day. I do believe his braced knee prevents him from setting up and throwing off his back leg properly. As much as he has done for us, he deserves the right to play injured for the next game and Bowl game if necessary, but he probably should have been replaced by Tommy Stevens today until he has sufficient time to heal.
3. Our LBs played a much better game today, especially Micah Parsons, and the past maligned Koa Farmer. of course though, it was Rutgers we were playing.
4. Our OL gave Trace great pass protection, but as mentioned earlier, Trace was off his game today.
5. That was a bone headed penalty by Miller when he took his helmet off, for many reasons!
6. Pinegar needs to lift his FGs up higher, and don't know if he purposely kicks that way, or his mechanics are off.
7. Although MD played very tough and probably should have beaten OSU, I believe they will have a major letdown against us next week and we will win fairly easily at SC!
