Understanding their assignment seems to be a problem. And of course we don't have backs that play enough, nor are big enough, to pick up the blitz.

Blocking assignment has been an issue for a long long time, at least to my eye. Footwork too.

Uncalled penalty there - the ball clearly hits MeatChicken's Center directly out of the QB's hand.... that is Illegal Touching by an Ineligible Receiver. No flag. PSU probably declines, but a flag absolutely should have been thrown there.
