Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Penn State vs. Minnesota

Bad enough that PSU, with all the scholarships used on WR's, does not have a game breaker at WR. But what was Tinsley thinking, or not thinking, to not turn up over the first down line.............

they couldn't have in that system

the computers would have dropped them too much
There were literally times the computers didn't drop teams at all when they lost
Don't get me wrong--the computers were awful but Texas-USC were 1-2 all year for a reason

With no deep threat in this offense of Yurich they're playing 8 to 9 men in the Box. It's gonna be a long night.. A year and a 1/2 of Yurich is year and a 1/2 too long

This is going to be the quietest whiteout ever. Also, I'm considering watching this wiffle ball game instead.

Watching Penn State's offense is like watching the Steelers offense. We can blame the QB and the players all we want but the coordinator is the real problem

Not overly surprised by the start. Minnesota's offense is really going to struggle. Nothing to worry about so far IMO

With Morgan out for Minny PSU's chances to get the W are pretty good, even with this hard to watch O. First career start in a white out is a tall order.

After two three and outs, Sean Clifford throws an interception and Minnesota returns it all the Penn State's 14 yard line. Just an extremely poor pass out of Clifford.

And Clifford throws into double coverage to a WR that is not open and turns the game in the favor of Minny.

Anyone surprised?

You can add the WR corps as cheeks as well...we knew the OL would be a question because it is annually...the DT room blows and the WR room has zero blazers with any consistency. Outside of that, not too many issues.

That Trickett kid is from Cleveland st Ignatius and xfered from Kent. They used to bet on if he’d hit it through the uprights on kickoffs he was about 50%. Strongest leg I’ve ever seen
