Good Laugh Anyone??? From the Liar

I don't know what is worse, Pitt fans posting detailed rants about Penn State attempting to invalidate a great season, or the near daily stream of Penn State fans making threads about threads that those Pitt fans make.

Here's a stat only because I feel some unavoidable need to defend a fellow Pitt person, even though I don't agree with him. If I told you that a certain coach was 1-19 against top 25 teams, would you say he shows up against big time teams?

The grammar of some of these posts is atrocious. Did this poster even finish grade school?

Maybe next year if he stops eating the paste

wiggum-paste.gif

Rutgers is without question an awful football team this year, but I watched a little bit of the Pitt Duke game yesterday and Duke is also a really really bad team on every level...Surprisingly terrible, as their season stats bear out. The ACC is a shitty conference this year.
And Duke beat Notre Dame, which tells me something I think.

I just wonder if the Dooz will stay to coach their bowl game, or will he head out early to get a jump on negative recruiting for his new program

He'll probably leave early but on the other hand are we really worried about Purdue and negative recruiting?

The opportunity for "negative" recruiting has expired. Any recruit who is dumb enough to buy into that sort of thing now isn't someone who belongs at PSU.
Like I said earlier, if you were a recruit in attendance at the OSU or Iowa games and you go elsewhere...........you never had any intention to come to PSU.

I am not concerned with Oklahoma, a two loss team that was soundly beaten by Ohio State at home.

My concern is if Washington wins out against two ranked opponents and finishes 12=1 with a conference championship. The committee may be forced to choose between the Wisconsin/PennState winner or a one loss Ohio State team.

Alabama, Clemson, Washington and a Big 10 Representative.

Heard from a source Narduzzi is leaving after this year for greener pastures.

Smart man.

His victory over Clemson, at Clemson, has peeked a certain college teams interest in the guy.

Wow...on top of being completely wrong and making things up, you don't even use the right word. That isn't surprising after PEEKing at your previous posts. The word you were looking for is piqued.

Even in a year with wins over two teams currently in the top 10, Pitt is an after thought in college football. Heinz Field was empty only one week after an epic upset win at Clemson. Pitt should be attracting attention from major bowls, but since they have no fan base they will be relegated to another lower tier bowl. With sanctions in the rear view mirror here and the tried and true "Franklin is on the hot seat" turned into Franklin, "National Coach of the Year."............ let the good times roll. This year is all the evidence anyone should need to establish that PSU should have no interest in playing Pitt. Some Pitt fans are wishing they could play PSU again. LOL. PSU does Pitt a solid playing them once or twice a decade. What will be their excuse for the decline in ticket sales when they don't have PSU to buttress their season ticket sales?

But this is correct Dave: Your Pitt Panthers are F--U--C--K--E--D next year sir!

Current head coach will be gone.

Many of your current starters will be gone!

The about of crying by Pitt fans on twitter today over rankings has been hilarious. Outside of about 1000 Pitt fans and a few of us here who like to laugh at them, they matter very little in college football

Maybe they should not have got obliterated by a shitty Miami team or struggle with Marshall and Georgia Tech? The ACC coastal has become the new Big East

I work at Pitt and my boss is pretty tied into their program. Honestly, I'd be shocked to see him leave. He hasn't achieved enough for a big-time offer and I know he is happy there.

The Crayola Captain strikes again! His diatribes are far less entertaining without the color.

He tries very hard to project a level of intelligence and being an insider in his hatred filled posts. Makes the effort to try and hide his disdain for PSU and Paterno by the occasional backhand compliments, but he is worse than Crazy Taco. Most of the lair buys his schtic that he passes off as fact and insider info. I think his writing "style" and colorful bold fonts and knack for copy-paste any and all negative PSU articles makes him appear to be an authority to his willing audience.

Quite possible he is a Western Psyche resident that the doctors give a computer toand Web Access to, and then study him as he trolls the lair community.

Captain Crayola and Crazy Taco, how appropriate.

OU should easily jump PSU this week. The whole Big10 was exposed again this week with OSU winning by one over a with a 3 win MSU, Michigan struggling with a 5 win Indiana, and Penn State has only three field goals against with one of the worst teams I have every seen put players on the field in Rutgers (a team that gave up 185 points to three teams on their schedule....including that 3 win MSU team).
Actually, it is even worse. Holgrosen like Franklin are showing they can't really compete with top ranked Teams. They are able to get by the teams they should win, but are far more Inconsistent against Bigger Better Teams. They were ranked in the top 10 because they lost 1 and 2 games, The Only Big Win Franklin has had was against Iowa Ferentz. I am listening to Rutgers Radio and they are not impressed with McSorely can't hit Intermediate Route Passes and is sliding because he can't take hits anymore? They beat OSU by a Blocked Kick same with Rutgers right now. next years the other Big Ten Coaches will adjust and be ready for the Surprise Spread.

Holgrosen is just out classed, and lucky he beat Texas that lost to Kansas today? Look how sloppy WVU Offense played Moving Before The Snap, Holding, Can't Pass or run??? On Defense just stupid Undisciplined Football!

Pitt Narduzzi is far more Consistent and his Teams are playing better now late into season as WVU gets blows out, and PSU barely hanging on, next year if both lose 4 games the Penn State fans will turn on them. When I talk to PSU fans they are just happy being ranked but few to none think they will will make the Playoffs, Experts too? Paper Lions!

Franklin has a huge Program behind him and no nearly as good a Narduzzi as a Coach, watch and see. They will win 8 to 10 games with the Spread but seldom to none a Big Ten or NCS Championship. The Big Ten is too big for Penn State to win like in the 1960s, 70s, 80,s after the 1990s they were tamed and that was under Paterno that was not playing by the Rules!

Barkley & McSorley won't get through the seasons healthy with the Spread and Franklin does not protect his Players!

Meanwhile, Narduzzi has Back-Ups behind Back-Ups on Offense and soon on Defense! And take cares of his Player's safety!

Heh, the Pitt guys have been out of the picture for so long, they have no idea what a top Ranked team even is.

Gotta admit...that post made very little sense. I come over here occasionally and try
to post rationally, and am sometimes surprised by what I see here from some Pitt posters. On the other hand, the lair has a few trolls from here that are as bad.

Every fan base has its fan boys, wannabe experts and just plain ass hats. I enjoy the give and take here because the characters I mentioned in the last sentence are in the minority. We have differing opinions, but by and large once you put the `10% on ignore, you can enjoy the discourse. I must admit that I never understood the preoccupation with "The Lair" so I got curious and took a visit. Wow, its difficult to see a rational post. If I was not such an old dude, I would ask for some of what they smoke over there.

Is there any way we can invite that Capt Sid fellow over here and engage in a healthy debate? Don't think its possible!

Well, to be fair the Lair is filled with 100% delusional posters who think the B1G, with 4 teams in the top 10, is the worst conference in football. A matter of fact, the B1G has like 5 teams with 9 wins, which is tops for any conference.

The fact is that about 3-4 weeks after PSU played Pitt, PSU passed Pitt and if they played again today PSU would win, even if it was played at Pitt. The Lair has a hard time coming to terms with that, though.

But, the biggest thing they have a hard time coming to terms with is the fact that the Pitt loss means little this team and us fans at this point. We are on the verge of a 10 win season with a win on Saturday, and at this point nobody really cares about the loss half as much as they care about the win. It's going to be a very long day in Happy Valley for Pitt next September and again, they are delusional in thinking this team takes a step back next year. This team will make giant leaps forward next year and will be far better than they are this year and that scares the Lair to death.

At the risk of breaking protocol, I'll repost something I wrote in another thread. Anytime you want a good laugh without the Liar Board stench, here's my take on my favorite Liar Board poster:

Do you mean Crapstain O'Reilly? He of the crayon postings?

HES A REALLY GOOD POSTER, FULL OF INSIDER KNOWLEDGE. Franklin is on the hot seat he has done a good job but the JOEBOT cultists aren't happy in creepy valley. PITT beat them head to head Narduzzi loves PITT and will never leave now that he has seen he can beat Clemson and have sustained success at PITT while Franklin can't win enough in the Big for their fans? FRANKLIN IS A HOT COMMODITY AND IS RUMORED TO BE TAKING THE OREGON JOB BECAUSE OF NIKE MONEY AND AN EASIER CONFERENCE NOT HAVING TO PLAY MEYER AND HARBAUGH AND DANTONIO EVERY YEAR PLUS NO SCANDAL AND THREAT OF MORE NCAA SANCTIONS DUE TO CLEARY ACT VIOLATIONS WHERE PSU ADMITTED THEY WERE WRONG BUT ARE NOW A MODEL OF COMPLIAMCE AND SHOULD BE LAUDED BUT STILL THEIR FANS COMPLAIN ABOUT OFFICIATING AND WANTING THE STATUE BACK. Narduzzi will have Pitt winning the Coastal most years which is harder than the BIG East and will be beating Franklin for all the best recruits and Franklin knows this. Credit where credit due, Franklin hired Moorhead and he has revitalized Penn Stste offense but goes to show that Franklin can't coach and he has the Vanderbilt players rape scandal on his tenure so Pitt never would have hired him but PSU did and now their fans are unhappy losing to Pitt and Michigan and want to honor Paterno even though he cost the school millions of dollars in Cleary Act violations and fines. FRANKLIN WILL BE A CANDIDATE AT LSU BECAUSE HE WANTS TO GO BACK TO SEC AND MONEY HANDSHAKES AND PITT WONT DO THAT BUT BEVAUSE CHANCELLOR GALLAGHER HAS HIS MAN AND GOLDEN PANTHERS ARE MONITORED CLOSELY UNLIKE THE OLD DAYS UNDER SHERILL AND MAJORS BUT PATERNO PROVED HIS PROGRAM WAS A SHAM WITH NO HONOR. Pitt and Penn State programs both have history but PSU reputation with JoeBots is ruined and what coach would want to deal with that meanwhile Pitt is on the rise and finally has full support of the administration and a Chancellor with a vision and then the fans will follow while Franklin can't coach and will lose to Pitt again next year and will be on the hot seat we shall see? Hail to Pitt! Pitt is it!!!

That Crapstain O'Reilly? :)

My favorite portion of the lunatic's rant:

FRANKLIN WILL BE A CANDIDATE AT LSU BECAUSE HE WANTS TO GO BACK TO SEC AND MONEY HANDSHAKES AND PITT WONT DO THAT...

Huh? Whaaaaaa? Franklin is going to LSU and back to SEC so he can do "money handshakes" because Pitt's Chancellor won't let him do that??? As Pink Floyd's "Brain Damaged" says...the lunatics are in my head....

Is there any way we can invite that Capt Sid fellow over here and engage in a healthy debate? Don't think its possible!

We'd have to find a legal guardian that would be willing to check him out of the "institution" for the day. That might prove difficult after his last trip... http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2014/05/25/man-escapes-ambulance-jumps-off-bridge-2/

Find a straight jacket, unless they will provide one. Fuel for the short bus, find some shiny objects to keep him distracted on the trip. We'd have to pick up a shit ton of crayons so he could properly communicate here.

Seems like a hassle. However on the bright side while we have him out, we could do the world a favor and have him neutered so he can't reproduce.

If Penn State would have beat Pitt, Penn State's situation would be exactly the same today. They would need to beat Mich. St. and need Michigan to lose this weekend. The Pitt game was completely insignificant. Hell, there might even still be a chance for Penn St. to make the playoff even if Michigan beats Ohio St. If Michigan beats Ohio St.(#2) and then goes on to beat Wisconsin (#6) and Washington loses another game against either Wash. St. or Colorado, that is 3 teams ahead of Penn St. who could potentially fall below Penn St. in which case, Penn St. could still possibly make it into the playoff provided they beat Mich. St. .That doesn't seem to be too much of a stretch. It's not like any of those teams are cruising against cupcakes. There are some formidable opponents ahead for all. I still think Washington will lose another game.

I must ever so politely disagree sir.

He "IS" getting interest by 'round-about' parties.

With the season still in play, the schools are merely doing some initial Intel to see if there is mutual interest. (And there is).

The idea that Pitt thinks we are afraid of more sanctions is ridiculous. Sanctions have made us strong. Sanctions have propelled us to within an arm's length of the CFB playoffs. We don't fear sanctions here. In fact, we welcome them.

Captain doesn't know what satire is. He thinks it's the main ingredient to his favorite: Milwaukee's Best Light.

Would love to give this sentence to a 9th grade English teacher to diagram.

"I am predicting PN at Pitt is better than JF at PSU or Holgrosen at WVU and over time and with current analysis is something that can be look backwards, currently and to help predict their futures at all 3 schools, since you say it is impossible then ignore these posts and you have a myopic view anyway since all you look at is Wins?"

If Duke is a really, really bad team, what does that make ND? Not necessary to answer, it was a rhetorical question. Texas beat ND on opening day and Charley Strong is getting fired? Kelly sure re-signed his contract at the right time.

"Cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame
Wake up the echoes cheering her name.
Send a volley cheer on high,
Shake down the thunder from the sky.
What tho' the odds be great or small,
Old Notre Dame will win over all,
While her loyal sons are marching
Onward to victory!"

God, how I love that song. I sing it to my ND buddies every chance I get.

Which sport does Holgrosen coach at WVU? This one is positively a classic:

Can be look backwards, currently and to help predict their futures at all 3 schools??? Huh? WTF? Sounds like something from "Dr. Who" or "The Matrix"???

You definitely are getting bad info...trust me.

If Pat Narduzzi were interested in another school or not interested, there isn't one person on a rivals messageboard or within the Pitt athletic department that would know....trust me.

Conversely, we win yet some are compelled to post about what is on the Lair. I don't give a rats ass what Radar O'Reilly or anybody else from Pitt thinks.
I still don't understand why people on here can't help themselves with posting about Pitt and Rutgers? Their irrelevant .... just let it go people.
