Good Laugh Anyone??? From the Liar

If Duke is a really, really bad team, what does that make ND? Not necessary to answer, it was a rhetorical question. Texas beat ND on opening day and Charley Strong is getting fired? Kelly sure re-signed his contract at the right time.

"Cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame
Wake up the echoes cheering her name.
Send a volley cheer on high,
Shake down the thunder from the sky.
What tho' the odds be great or small,
Old Notre Dame will win over all,
While her loyal sons are marching
Onward to victory!"

God, how I love that song. I sing it to my ND buddies every chance I get.

It's a long season. Texas "upset" nd, and everyone touted Strong as a hero and exclaimed that Texas was back. Now he's getting fired. On the other hand, Penn State lost a close game to pitt and then lost badly to michigan, and some had Franklin on the hot seat. Now Penn State is ranked #8 and Franklin has a shot at coach of the year.

We should avoid a rush to judgment. I'm pretty sure I've heard that before somewhere.

If Pat Narduzzi were interested in another school or not interested, there isn't one person on a rivals messageboard or within the Pitt athletic department that would know....trust me.
Look, I'm a realist, and don't buy into fantasies. It's also simple to put two and two together. First there are only so many P5 jobs and only a handful that are elite. The rest there just isn't a lot of difference between them.
Now when you look at jobs that would be a step up, he hasn't accomplished enough to be offered them. I can say with pretty solid info that he is very happy at Pitt. Therefore, I don't see him taking a job that would for all intents and purposes, is a lateral move.
