Most if not ALL hit or exceeded expectations! Also EVERY one delt with injuries. Look at DeSanto would have NEVER reached the level he did in your room! Marin , more then likely would not have either! These guys also helped win a team title AND won the biggest Tournament of the year going away the following year!!!

NOW if you will just list the dozen or so 125s I will PROVE my point so easy your head will spin off!!!!

So I get it, wrestlers are successful @ Iowa if the win a big ten or become an AA. Whereas success @ PSU is measured in Natty's

Murin was a mid-level recruit who became a starter AND an AA!!! It is a B1G accomplishment!!!

You WOULD be correct HAD you said 4 B1Gs for 1 NCAA title MAYBE???? I have though about it and I believe the 4 Titles, in the end, is a much greater accomplishment and it is really, REALLY hard to do if you do not know!!! Just look to see how many you have????

Suriano was the only Top 10 PFP 125 prospect PSU got besides Nico. Howard was in the late teens and had 0 health years. Steen and Teske were both in the 50s or lower.

Davis was in the 40s and is ranked Top 5 as a true freshman

Iowa and PSU have both produced one guy that has won an NCAA title at 125 in the past ten years.

Lee - Suriano would of been interesting. If Suriano kept it close going into third I would of liked Nick's chances. Lee had trouble in third periods

ONLY when SUPERMAN LEE could not train at around 75%!!!! During times when his training was severally limited, maybe 50% or less, was ANYONE within a country mile of him!!!

There's not "best 125 room" or "best 157 room". It's just the best room, period. And that is a FACT. Lee was coming off major knee surgery (enough with the excuses, WUSS), but Suriano wasn't coming off a major injury as well? That doesn't count? Spencer is the only WUSS allowed to use the injury excuse? And yes, if Suriano stayed at Penn State in the best room in the world, that would have been more than enough difference to put him over the top against an apparently half-crippled Spencer.

However, he enrolled in a Div II school where he won a Div II national title. He's a member of the PWCA as well as a member of the PA wrestling HOF. His knowledge of wrestling speaks for itself. I had the honor and privilege getting to know him doing the tournament circuit with our grandsons.

If you honestly think the Luther tournament is on the same level as the Mat-Town II tournament, then I guess there's not much more to say other than to say it speaks volumes as to your wrestling knowledge.

Thanks for dredging up my past, you just reminded me of my age. From one old jar head to another: thanks for the back up. My time in the service pales in comparison to yours(if this board only knew).

I see our grandkids are tearing it up this year! Oh to be young again. Guess I'll be seeing you in a couple weeks.

As for the Irondolt, I've pretty much disengaged from him. I know it's tempting to respond to him but if WE ALL ignore him, eventually he'll go away.

So much so that many don't even have the match numbers to qualify for rankings!!!!

I CLEARLY explained why IOWA sends wrestlers to the meet. It is FOR FANS, to get matches, to settle weights, and maybe several other TOP SECRET stuff that the BEST coaches on the planet use!!!!

Somehow this was NOT good enough but when psu sent starters to the BIG mat town, it was defended on here!?!? You ALL are amazing HYPOCRITES!!!!

There have been 16 4X Big Ten champs vs Five 4X National Champs. With only one of them from the Big 10. The good news is that PSU has a chance to add 2 more 4X national champs to the list. Brooks and Starocci. Bet that chaps your ass.

I would have loved to have seen old rutgersal take on ironbird.
 
According to Ironturd on GIA he has been given a timeout for political conversation, and he is not happy. Of course he blames Cael.

I think he might need a hug after this double whammy of a timeout and then Iowa’s performance.
