The official was clearly confused after looking too long at Eierman’s disastrous tattoos
Yeah... but does he cry?One of those holes just had a better win than your 149 starter has had in 4 years
Why are you always like this?!Yeah... but does he cry?
Omg I shouldnt have. Lol
You could always delete it….Yeah... but does he cry?
Omg I shouldnt have. Lol
I see what you did thereYou could always delete it….
What?? You did it before I did hahahahaI see what you did there
PSU one year drought=4 ChampsAnd even in his one year “drought,” four of his wrestlers won individual titles. I think most PSU fans enjoyed March 20,2021 at least as much as Iowa fans ;-)
That was it! The protective layer of ink between Eierman's shoulders and the mat.The official was clearly confused after looking too long at Eierman’s disastrous tattoos
If he were to have them removed he’d be an undersized 125..That was it! The protective layer of ink between Eierman's shoulders and the mat.
Looks like the ref got it right after all.
I seem to be suffering from deja vu all over again. Seems to be approaching the level of @Callthestall and his Sasso recruitment reiterations.it is hard to return yo yourself. I said that about Assad and was right in the middle of arguments with Hawk fans that Kem may show signs of just being "finished" with collegiate wrestling. They really didnt like that I predicted Kem wouldnt reach finals this year because of all that.
Why would PSU want to beat themselves on their best day? This preoccupation with all things Iowa makes me wonder. Maybe it’s the holes at four PSU weights? Maybe it’s those team title years getting farther away? I guess I get it, if you’re not good enough to win on your own merits you hope the ones better than you stumble.
So much for wanting to beat the best team on their best day.
That’s what I’m coming here to read. I get enough Iowa at HR, which is way better that BWI, at least that’s what people say;-One of those holes just had a better win than your 149 starter has had in 4 years
NC State did win the Orange Bowl in CHA a few years ago ... but Iowa wasn't as good then.Sucks so bad for NC State. Call the pin and all else plays out the way it did and they pull off largest upset and win in their program’s history.
one of the best rule changes in recent history. i just rewatched the gulibon match and i actually think hagerty got it right. there was no point imo where heil’s shoulders were down for a full second. the same goes for the evans-perry semi.I still credit Jimmy for creating the danger rule. Was the straw that broke the camels back IMO. Even if you don't want to call the pin, Dean was held on his back for 10+ seconds every team, that's 6 in this day and age (but likely 2 since Heil obviously just concedes the takedown)
i don’t think you need to feel bad about cracking jokes about him considering he makes the same jokes himself hahaI may have cracked a few jokes about Kem this past few months but I do find it noble of him to want to at least try to help his team win another title. I have always liked MK, actually one of my fave Iowa guys all time, but I just dont see him being a factor this year, I doubt he can even beat Foca.
I know Willie mentioned Kemerer allegedly has thought about not coming back for his 6th year even ... then obviously again his 7th year. Willie said main reason is he always gets very banged up through a season, whether he let's you know it or not.i don’t think you need to feel bad about cracking jokes about him considering he makes the same jokes himself haha
The Oklahoma State announcer couldn't even defend the no pin call tbh.one of the best rule changes in recent history. i just rewatched the gulibon match and i actually think hagerty got it right. there was no point imo where heil’s shoulders were down for a full second. the same goes for the evans-perry semi.
the real problem was that the rules allowed you to lay on your back as long as you didn’t pin yourself and it made for bad wrestling. now that is fixed.
Speaking of which, it should be interestingI seem to be suffering from deja vu all over again. Seems to be approaching the level of @Callthestall and his Sasso recruitment reiterations.
Off the top of my head...Iowa dual.
Any thoughts from the base?????
Good point .😒 I was thinking how the matches played out against Iowa and also how Bartlett would do against Sasso. Somehow I combined the thoughts.Off the top of my head...
1st thought - No chance it affects the Iowa dual in the least.
2nd thought - Ohio State dual won't be close enough to have a swing match.
When I first read this thread title this morning, I thought Kemerer had finally divulged why he has been AWOL.
GIF me, Dave!!
Just got back from the duals. I was seated low in the stands and had a direct look at Eierman's shoulders. He was clearly pinned by normal standards. If the refs give a longer look for a defensive pin, I can't say, but it was at least 2 seconds and probably more. Tough break for NCS. Jack almost beat Eierman on points without that pin. I was very impressed with Jack. He twice finished TD's in scrambles which is not easy to do on Eierman. He's going to be a good one.Sucks so bad for NC State. Call the pin and all else plays out the way it did and they pull off largest upset and win in their program’s history.
I am not surprised that Kem waited until Spring semester to wrestle. It probably helps with Iowa's 9.9 and certainly helps with Kem's bank account only having to pay for one semester. Very few wrestlers are on full scholarship.I know Willie mentioned Kemerer allegedly has thought about not coming back for his 6th year even ... then obviously again his 7th year. Willie said main reason is he always gets very banged up through a season, whether he let's you know it or not.
I think another big part is he probably has really good and well paying job offers everywhere, IIRC his other finalists included Stanford and Cornell. Wrestling isn't even his biggest talent. To be honest, a kid like Kemerer will probably advance VERY fast in his career and he might be ready to get started on it. All in all, I think he figures he has the rest of his life to do business stuff if he wants.
Amazing kid (every PSU young guns kid talks about how much they like him) and very smart and will do big things in his field (Finance)
Don't think that's happening...Would not be surprised if Cael does something similar with RBY next season. Just wrestle the spring.
Willie teased it in his 2023 Crystal Balls and I suggested that possibility but overall, I think you're right.Don't think that's happening...
danger rule only applies in the nuetral position. Has to be that way or they'd be counting when you are trying to tilt and cradle and don't have them at a 45%.Eireman looks stuck in my book, but as a side note, why no discussion of a danger count, he was on his back for at least 6 seconds?
My ❤ and rooting interest hopes Bartlett by DEC. My 🧠 will tell my KYPSW selection to pick Sasso by DEC.Good point .😒 I was thinking how the matches played out against Iowa and also how Bartlett would do against Sasso. Somehow I combined the thoughts.
It's been a crazy week. Head up my arse.
Let's try this again.
How does Sasso vs Bartlett matchup play out.?
First take down wins this match. But it will probably be in SV.My ❤ and rooting interest hopes Bartlett by DEC. My 🧠 will tell my KYPSW selection to pick Sasso by DEC.
Minor correction, otherwise spot on.Heil rule only applies in the nuetral position. Has to be that way or they'd be counting when you are trying to tilt and cradle and don't have them at a 45%.
LoL you know this can be watched again right?? At least 2 seconds?? Hahahaha it was probably close to 1/2 a second.Just got back from the duals.
