Hearing lots of rumblings of white out being Illinois, if so, we ought to not show up and instead

When did the "Whiteout Game" come under the discretion of the TV networks.. The fans and student section dictated it. The networks can say whatever they want. They don't determine what the fans and students wear. I don't want the game watered down. Last year there was an awful lot of yellow in the stands

The networks determine the time of the game which is what people are complaining about. The networks couldn't care less if we do a whiteout or not

He’s right. Media buy the games and then instead of promoting what makes an event like the white out so special, they deflate it by scheduling all the big games at noon.

That leads PSU to try and find a night game……. which ends up with Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota as the opponent instead of Ohio State, Michigan, USC. More of college football killing the goose with the golden eggs.

Dude what don’t you understand about how TV controls the start times of games. If the only games they want to televise is against mediocre opponents, then that’s who the white out game will be played against unless you are into white outs during daylight hours.
