He's back

Awesome. This should add separation between Cassar and wrestlers who are actually on relevant teams.

For real though, glad to see him back. He’s fun to watch wrestle and I’m sure Cassar would rather try to win it with him in the field.

Winter in Minnesota.
Think about it.
Not much to do.
Dudes eat rotten fish and chase sheep.

If true, the Goofers will have how many relevant wrestlers?

Wow. Lets get snarky. All these kids are relevant. It is getting harder and harder to come over here and listen to some of you guys. Just sayin'

Been reading and posting on sports fan message boards for >20 years now and I can honestly say "lecture-themed" posts like yours are the absolute bottom of the barrel.

If it wasn't already obvious, sports forums are frequented by fans, and the word "fans" is short for "fanatics". That is to say, people who post on sports forums have a tendency to get passionate and they enjoy taking shots at the opposition. If you have difficulty accepting this, I suggest you try something else because nothing is going to change no matter how hard you and others preach. Just sayin'...

This may be the only civil wrestling board around. 99% of these posts are in jest. Hell it's a Sesame Street post.
Hotshoe, you are not keeping up with the times. It's already been proven that this board is a cesspool striving to overtake Hawkeye Report.

Got a long way to go to overtake our cesspool! Steveson back only hurts us. Cassar still gonna win it, my hope is Steveson is not as good due to time off. I can hope.

Should go watch GS match with SDS if Desanto pulled the stuff he did everyone would be saying he has to be disqualify..Acted like a punk with a guy that had not enough 1/4 of his talent and SD coach let the second reff know it also.

Nothing to see. Gable did lift the SDS wrestler at one point and let him drop to the mat but the ref did not call an illegal slam. Otherwise no antics by Gable except he tried to pin his opponent and did not succeed.

He gestures and carries on a conversation while riding on top with a forearm on the back of the kids head lol.

For the record, I support both DeSanto and Gable's right to do what they wish. Winners make their own rules. Wanna stop em? Beat em.

Sorry, can't get behind that. Winners should show as much sportsmanship as anyone.
^^^^This. Besides, how hard is it for GS to show a little sportsmanship when he’s beating the snot out of virtually all of his opponents (with one notable exception ;))?

It don’t work like that in this Sport, this couldn’t be further from the discipline wrestling teaches

So if a youth wrestler that you coach pulls a DeSanto or a Gable, you’d not dissuade them from doing it again? Is your club called Cobra Kai?

Exactly. I guess Crop says F**k u if you can’t stop it???

No doubt GS is a d$%k, he was last year. But I kind of like it. It easy to cheer against a heel and is even more justifying when our guy shuts him down and beats/humbles him. And preserves Caels undefeated record!

I've definitely told a kid or two to tone things down. I've also had kids and parents give me the "That kid is such a @$*#" for doing something they deem as unsportsmanlike, and every time I reply "Well, beat em then." That's the harshest thing you can do to a poor sport. Don't let them dance in the middle of the mat.

"You can always take a technical violation and give up a point if you know you'll score more later in the match."
