How many AA's I see in this line-up

If you don't think Gulibon places, then which 8 guys do you think finish ahead of him?

I'll spot you McKenna and, what the heck, Ashnault. After that, there's a real good case to be made against every single wrestler at 141.

Every top 10 wrestler but McKenna has either a loss or a non-bonus point win over an unranked opponent this year. Based on the "Growing Concern for Jimmy Gulibon" metric, it seems like a wide open weight class.

It was so predictable going into this season that Jimmy would become the new board punching bag by some here that do that sort of thing if he loses some. The team is so loaded that some people still need something to whine about. Most people tend to leave youngsters off the hit list(Rasheed, Bo, Nolf). People will point to the weight cut if Shakur doesn't measure up as well. Also, we don't have a wrestling Hwt to complain about. Z-Pain is out of this world, and guys tend to leave seniors alone out of respect despite Nico's loss he will always be safe here and deservedly so. I just think all year some will target Gulibon for some of these reasons. Also, the expectations for Cutch have always been less than Jimmy, so he won't take over this lead ever. Just my thoughts. Jimmy is just fine. I realize nobody else has really lost yet to complain about , I'll just predict this as a board trend this year, hope I'm wrong.

Agreed except for "new" board punching bag. He's a veteran board punching bag.

Other than the injury at heavy, apparently our biggest problem is a returning 5th placer. Pretty good indication of how good the program is.

The trend is fans praise athletes that win and criticize athletes that lose.
Bo/Nolf 3-0. Jimmy 1-2.

Why do you think Rutgers fans are "targeting" Kyle Flood?

Among other reasons, he does homework for some of his players?

Not in my corner of the wrestling world. We appreciate and support every one of these kids, the starters and the non-starters, win or lose. Their sacrifice and commitment is way beyond what most folks can relate to. I simply can't explain why an adult would criticize 18-22 year old kids. It's sad.

But I'll add this positive thought, there's a ton of people out there that completely, unconditionally, support the wrestlers.

Holes I see in PSU's lineup: 133, 141, 165, 184, hvy.
You mean those that probably won't be favored to win a NC? But I have high hopes for 65. ..... and I don't want to discount 84......... Nor is 33 and 41 out of it. Hwy is the exception that proves you might be right, but don't tell Jan that.

And only holes in the Minnesota line up... is the entire line up. That will be exposed on the 29th... when Oklahoma State rips through the ground hogs and they lose every single match. That turkey or Spam.. whatever rats eat... is going to have a burnt aftertaste in four days. Enjoy it and the massive holes J Rob has created in your entire line up. Three losses in a weekend to non ranked opponents and you're commenting about a championship team? Your sinking and imploding ship could easily fit in CHICKENMAN's hole... in the pieces its already in. Oklahoma State will make the moles look like novices stepping on a mat for the 1st time. You don't even have one top ten wrestler on the team and you're talking holes? Makes you look like a hole yourself... of the a-- variety. And I'd put those supposed holes at Penn State against your guys at those weights and Penn State would win every match but heavy for obvious reasons.

"We're going to be, we're going to be somebody... NOT THIS YEAR... and years to continue."

Turkey time. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on the board.

This whole thread is much to do about nothing. I don't think anyone isn't supporting JG. At the same time, I think there are plenty of folks who think JG would be better off if he was more aggressive from nuetral. Some of his teammates have taken this approach this year and it is paying dividends. The position is....he should be more aggressive because he IS such a great wrestler.....good on the attack, good scrambler.

The key thing is it is November. Thanksgiving Day. Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!!

Still think Jimmy is an AA?
