If PSU is 6 or 7 in the first committee ranking.....

That was last year. As soon as Clemson lost to Sorryexcuse, the narrative switched from "who have you lost to" to "who have you beaten."
Exactly. I love how the “experts” say that the committee values Good wins more than bad losses...err except for Penn St last year. The criteria changes from team to team and year to year.

If you look at who’s ahead of them, they are set up perfectly even if OSU wins out because odds are that Georgia, ND, and Oklahoma do not

I found it interesting that on the scroll at the bottom they had the chances of winning out for each of the top 10 teams and PSU had by far the highest chance to win out (80%). OSU was next at 55% and then there were like 4 teams in the mid-30's. I think Clemson, ND and yes Bama was listed as only having a 36% chance to win out. OU was around 20% if I recall and Georgia and TCU were down around 10% or below. Can't remember the others but I know none of them were higher than 50%.

I think Notre Dame will win out, and if Georgia loses, it will be to Alabama and that will not drop their stock at all.

I think you’re wrong but we’ll see I guess. I think UGA loses sat along with either Wisconsin, Clemson, or Miami.

My opinion is that UGA is the Texas A&M of last year

Exactly. If Georgia gets past Auburn they are in IMO (even with a SECCG loss to Bama). ND isn't losing. That leaves the fight for the final spot with OSU ahead of us as the (likely) big ten champ not to mention Oklahoma with their win over OSU.

There need to be several major upsets for PSU to have a chance to get in.

Oklahoma is not winning out. They have to play @ OSU, TCU, and WVU and they’ve looked downright crappy vs winless Baylor and KSU.

Fact of the matter is that every team in front of PSU has the ability to lose multiple games the rest of the year.and for UGA, the only thing these rankings accomplished is to piss the F out of Bama so Bama will beat them by 5 tds in the SEC championship
