I'm confused regarding Penn State football ticket sales.

Please bear with me, as I'm confused. As I understand it, you can buy tickets to the pitt game in September from Penn State without being required to buy season tickets. I don't get that.

Last year, pitt required you to buy season tickets to get tickets to the Penn State game. Isn't this how it works everywhere?

I'm confused. Does anyone have an explanation as to the difference?

You're overthinking this. If you keep doing that, you'll wind up hating yourself.

Arch rivals (mutually recognized) with similar places in the world of college football taking two very different approaches to ticket sales.

I got nothin'.

Similar places? Not so sure about that. Pitt would trade places with us in a heartbeat. We'd never trade places with them. (wink sarcasm noted)

The real tragedy is, I had the glorious experience of being a Pitt season ticket holder for a year, and what a year it was. Never before have I felt such adulation, pride, and a sense of real belonging as I did this past year. Even though I only attended one game, and couldn't even give the rest of the tickets away, it was a magical season.

Pitt fans will not have the opportunity in reverse, sadly.

Pitt tickets will be sold out either prior to or during the general public sale in July. You'll be lucky if any tickets are made available to the general public as NLC club members will get first shot at single game tickets and they can purchase between 2 and 14 additional tickets depending on their donation level. Penn State uses a variable pricing system depending on the specific game so if any are made available to the public they will cost between $100 and $200 depending on the location.

In addition to my 4 season tickets I can buy up to 10 individual game tickets. I plan on buying all 10 for friends. I'm guessing many NLC members will be doing the same. I will be surprised if there is a public sale for the Pitt game or even the Michigan game

Better to be confused than outraged.

You got the thrill of experiencing another ASWP 8-5 "National Championship Season".....LMFAO. If they didn't count all the season tickets that PSU fans bought, what was ASWP's average home attendance this year....10K.....15K???
