Hard to believe the stadium is that empty when both teams are 5-2, VoTech is ranked #25 and they're both in the hunt for the Coastal Division??? Kind of gives you a good indication of what the true interest level in ASWP football is.....

They're putting on a show worthy of the fan support - 1st Qtr almost over and ASWP has 12 yards of Total Offense, two turnovers, 3 penalties.... Holy shnikies, they look beyond awful on the offensive side of the ball.

Hillgrove is unlistenable. He's so far over the hill, he's circumnavigated the globe and is now climbing back up the hill from the other side.
I know Bill is a legend, but the man can't see the field any more. Can't identify players, can't tell if the play is a catch or not, he's done. He's lousy with the Steelers as well.

Well, I'm not sure I would qualify either of these teams as "beating" the other - they're both doing their absolute best to lose the game.....ASWP's efforts to lose are just too monumental to this point (26 yards of Total Offense 22 minutes into the game, two turnovers - and VoTech dropped an INT - etc.....).
He should PayPal you $1 if you're willing to take them.
Pitt with a big play, 71 yards catch and run from Orndoff (who is a hell of a player). Peterman did his best to gak it up with a fumble, but Pitt recovered and Connor runs it in. 16-14 at the half.

He is a legendary drinker and is very social. I agree that age has taken away his abilities but I foresee him staying around for a while.
Doesn't have the staying power of Mike Lange, who must have a concrete liver.

Saw The Fantasticks a few weeks ago. Pittsburgh's Public Theatre is outstanding. In fact, I had a drink with Bill Hillgrove during intermission at a play there recently. He is a great story teller. He knew that I was a PSU guy but, after introductions, I dropped a few names of close friends/relatives and he was comfortable enough to be himself. We had a nice 15 minute chat while our wives exchanged coupon clipping tips!

Nice story Ziggy. I love the Fantastics and have seen it a couple of times, but not on it's most recent run here. I like Hillgrove. He always came across to me as a decent guy.

BTW, what are they booing about on the PI call??? The ASWP d-back hit the receiver before the ball arrived and never looked back for the ball - that was obvious PI contrary to what goofus claimed on the play call for ESPN.
