From what I gathered on his social media (instagram), Fleming made the trip and went to visit the new WR coach, but he has a girl on campus that he "visited" as well. He's made the trip to Happy Valley many many times from my memory, so I don't think there's much more juice left to squeeze.

Really hope we get this guy. I know he has a visit to Clemson coming up.

Yes, he is 18. The PIAA cutoff is 19, and the date is I believe sometime in August. He can play his senior year but I think he just sneaks under the age cutoff.

I would assume he will be an early admit.

I don't know why anyone would worry. Fleming has been looking around for some time. I hope people aren't assuming he is coming to PSU. I heard that Harbaugh offered Cal Halladay a 6' 195 LB with the only other offer being U Mass. Now he (JM) brings in Gattis. Sure looks to me like he's trying to leverage Fleming.
Here's another little tidbit to consider. Fleming will be 19 next year. I and most of my team mates were 16 or 17 when we played our senior years. I'm not saying he isn't a great talent, but there may be a 17 year old WR in the class of 2020 who is rated top 10 at his position, who may mature and blow by him. Is that crazy to even consider?

I understand what you’re saying, but he is an elite athlete either way. Agree that he is more mature than most high school juniors so he may be closer to his eventual ceiling than others, but he is already an athletic freak.

I still think this will be a major miss for Franklin if he doesn’t end up here. PA isn’t producing top end talent like the days of yore, so we have to get the elite home grown guys to be an elite program.
