I'm sure this has been commented on since it happened, with the Nit's hanging on for the win in Columbus on Saturday, I wonder if there will be more than normal interest in the matchup vs MSU on Wednesday. Back to back wins over ranked conference opponents would do wonders for the "middle of the pack" Lions.

When was the last time we beat 2 ranked opponents back to back.... in the top 15!?

We need this upset against MSU, getting above .500 in conference play just like the football team needed the victory over Ohio State in 2016. Could be a program building win for Chambers.

A shame this can't be moved to Rec Hall... the thought of 9k in a 16k arena makes me ill.

Iowa 11-12 (home), MARY 15-8 (home) and @ ILL 11-11.

I have a bad feeling about tonight. They've got size and athleticism that can stop us from getting to the rim, and we really play best when we can get inside. Best matchup for us offensively is Carr posting up against Winston and Narin, but we get so stagnant on offense when we try to iso Tony on the block.

Felt like we had some success in Philly last year going small with Stevens at the 5 and drawing them away from the basket, but that creates such a huge mismatch now at the other end.

Hopefully I come away pleasantly surprised and we hang around and make a game of it, but they are loaded this year.
