Let the ducking posts begin!!!! But Stoll is listed to go against a ranked opponent. If he does, can we disregard all of @NittanyChris posts about him ducking?
Nah, at least no one can say Lee is protecting a seed on this one.
Jennings isn't exactly an athletic heavy. Stoll shouldn't have a problem pushing him around.

No Young either. Iowa has really fallen from the days of Gable. They have become snowflakes.
Personally I think this works to Rivera's advantage. I think we can all say there's something off with Lee lately and I expect him to be back in full force but the more times they wrestle the more Spencer will learn. it's going to take some unique tactics to beat Spencer Lee and once he gets used to people wrestling in space the whole match he'll figure it out.

It's not "the system". It is "the coaches". Coaches can make sure the matchups happen. Coaches can penalize wrestlers if they don't (by dinging the seeding in the post season tourney).

Well NW sent out their starters...Iowa intentionally sat the two starters that had tough opponents. I don’t care what Brands or any Duckeye fans say. Lee and Young were “perfectly” fine on Friday night and there was nothing to suggest they were injured in either match. And I don’t want to hear about Lee still having residual issues from mono.
And Desanto still can't control himself. This day just keeps getting better.

After watching Max Murin in the 141 bout, no Iowa fan should ever again complain about a stall ride.
Outside of 133 the most activity on the mats today for the Ducks is from their coaches.
