Yeah, we went to Happy Valley brewing last year or the year before for a BJC meet and it was nuts. Managed to get a table downstairs but the drive up to BJC took forever. My son ended up jumping out of the car while we were still trying to get in a lot so he wouldnt miss any bouts. I think we just barely made it but I also think they held up the meet a bit, just for us!
We reserved a table for eight last week at HVBC. The traffic is unreal for a Bryce Jordan match, we almost missed 125 a couple of years ago.
We were in that a few years ago, that is why I am trying from Otto’s this time. May be an exercise in futility.
I'll be there for the match. Still mourning The Skeller. Probably be at Liberty Craft House for a while.

I agree, so I just checked the press release again, it is dated 2011! So, I guess this is not a whiteout.
So I've been battling the flu since last Saturday, finally feeling good enough to do a half day Thursday and a full day yesterday. Felt pretty drained last night but was hopeful a good night sleep would do the trick, nope feel like I'm on the verge of relapsing. I have 2 floor seats and am seriously considering not going, WTF!
My daughter has been one of the lucky ones that hasn't gotten sick down there but a lot of students have been dealing with this nasty flu. I hope the guys on the team are healthy, it's friggin brutal, just won't go away. Symptoms are more like pneumonia then a normal virus.

I also hear if you were to wear a robe to the match it won't help and will only get you yelled at.
I haven't had anything but a day long battle with a sniffle for 9 years. I spent Tuesday and Wednesday trying to cough up a lung, then Thursday and Friday lying on the couch just feeling like crap. Got up this morning feeling better than I have all week then took dogs for a walk and hauled some stuff up stairs and had to sit like I just ran out of gas.
This shyt sucks.

I was digging the retro wrestling robes. That’s the way we did it in the 70’s and 80’s.
I don't know if i liked the bathrobes or not, but it was just too easy to pass on.
We had robes and hoods....dropping the hood when your name was announced. Just like OSU did it.

Must have been good weather. Other than those bleachers behind the team bench no other fans were dressed as empty seats.
