Some data, given the earlier discussions...
Since Cael has arrived in Happy Valley...
We've had 59 National Qualifiers.
We've had 37 All-American finishes (62.7%).
Of our All-Americans, 78% finished at or above their seed.
6 of our 8 (75%) #1 seeds went on to be NC. All other #1 seeds won 53% of time.
PSU had 5 NC that were not #1 seeds.
5 AA exceeded their seed by 4 places or more.
1 AA was 4 places or more below their seed.
Then there's the whole Bonus Point thing.
My point was to confirm a point that Casey made at the Coaches Radio Show Wednesday evening...that our guys tend to improve as the season progresses, and finish better than their seed at the tournaments. On average, his comments are true...and I didn't expect 100% of the seeded guys to finish above their seed, though the evidence suggests most do. Considering this, and the bonus point thing, and we're not looking bad at all this point in the season.

Yes. I think there's been lots of us trying to emphasize this point. When you focus on the process, learn from losses (and wins!), and peak in March, it doesn't matter want the "rankings" are. Cael, Cody, and Casey get it and ARE playing a different game than may other coaching staffs are.
So you are on board with a pretty much team weight drop and 11 point scorers. Great you can be the group spokesman. Could you inform Casey we have our plan ready for staff review?

That's definitely true. Last I recall Lee facing Micic was when Micic was a Sr and Lee a Fr in the IN HS State Semifinals. Micic handled him relatively easily.
