I've been looking at the CFP teams and I think the comittee got it right.

The better of the two games is OU aginst Clemson. That should be a good match up. I think that LSU will take care of business easily. After watching LSU and Bama I think that LSU is the best of the best.

The jury is out on Oklahoma. Don't think they played a good football team all year. Guess we will find out.

They got the top 3 right. But #4 could be 4-5 different teams
THIS.^^^

The top 3 were clear—and the sole reason for the switch to a playoff system. Any one of them can win it. And OK was the most sensible choice for 4. It’s possible they could steal it but not likely. At all.

It's still too arbitrary. If you have to have a conference championship game (which is what the Big XII was told) to make the CFP, then it should mean something. Conference champs in, three at large (don't care how you select these three). Then, everything is meaningful and fair.

I like that this year, all four CFP teams are also conference champs. In my scenario, I'd add Oregon, Penn State, Georgia or Utah, and Alabama.
