And if we lose by even one point to USC, our arguments about us being more worthy than Ohio State or Washington will be rendered moot by anyone outside of the PSU community. If we win, we have something significant to say, even if it does fall on the deaf ears of Delany and the Committee.

I think the Rose Bowl is too close to predict with confidence. I can see it going either way, especially with a month to prepare and to get healthy and to get better. But to me, it's all house money for PSU at this point. I'm happy that this team and our fans got to go to CA rather than to Atlanta. If we win, it's a rare 12-win season for us, and one of the most satisfying and exciting seasons ever. If we lose, we had an absolutely great 11-win season and as fun a ride as we've had since at least 2008 or 2005.... but probably since 1994.
Double-digit wins seasons are tough to accomplish. We're there, and we have a reasonable expectation for many more in the foreseeable future. There are just a small handful of teams who are at that level. We can be one of them, always in the national discussion. Let's get there.

And let's beat USC!

No matter what happens, a couple things are true

1. I love this team
2. We are way better than anyone thought
3. No one can take away the shear joy of booing Jim Delaney in Indy!

Fight on....!
Unlike your team did last night.

Lot of firsts happened during your game.
1st time an Urban coached team was shut out
1st time shut out since Michigan in 1993
1st time shut out in bowl game since 1920

A lot to be proud of
