right....the problem is that you have to also be consistent. People don't realize but when Barry Sanders suddenly retired, they actually had a better record the next season. Why? Barry is a HoFer but he was inconsistent. he'd get 13 yards from the 20 to the 33. Then he'd get 2 - 1 - and 5> punt. That is opposed to 4-4-4 and a first down. I love chunk plays but they aren't consistent. You have to chunk and be consistent to score points.

So far this year, Singleton has gained less than 4 yards on 34% of his carries….Allen has gained less than 4 yards on 48% of his carries. Then throw in the long run potential and the actual long runs, and the offense is better with Singleton.

I never addressed that issue never made a comparison between the two. Not sure why you bring it up. You need two RBs and both are averaging over 5 YPC.

But 3-5 yards doesn’t get you down the field as fast as 9-10 and leads to lower scoring games….that’s all I’m saying.

Allen ran as well if not better than Singleton on Saturday. He's not the problem

Because you brought up Barry Sanders as if to say Singleton was like Sanders, with only the big runs elevating his averages, and then saying we need 4-4-4 type of runners….Singleton is better at that this year than Allen is, that’s why I responded.

I didn’t mean that at all. BS was a boom or bust RB. Singleton is just less than Saquon imho
