right....the problem is that you have to also be consistent. People don't realize but when Barry Sanders suddenly retired, they actually had a better record the next season. Why? Barry is a HoFer but he was inconsistent. he'd get 13 yards from the 20 to the 33. Then he'd get 2 - 1 - and 5> punt. That is opposed to 4-4-4 and a first down. I love chunk plays but they aren't consistent. You have to chunk and be consistent to score points.

So far this year, Singleton has gained less than 4 yards on 34% of his carries….Allen has gained less than 4 yards on 48% of his carries. Then throw in the long run potential and the actual long runs, and the offense is better with Singleton.

I never addressed that issue never made a comparison between the two. Not sure why you bring it up. You need two RBs and both are averaging over 5 YPC.
