No doubt as soon as the picture was snapped he ripped that stuff off. The look on his face says, "I'm only doing this because I lost a f&@king bet!!" Good stuff though. At least he's not the type to take that kind of thing too seriously.
Such was the case for Houston Texans J.J. Watt and Devon Still. The two defensive linemen, from Wisconsin and Penn State, respectively, had a friendly wager when the Badgers took on the Nittany Lions in last weekend's Big Ten title game.
As luck would have it — for Still — the Nittany Lions stormed back from a 28-7 deficit to beat the Badgers 38-31 and earn a spot in the Rose Bowl. Which led to this:
As you might expect, Watt took it all in good spirits.
“A bet is a bet. Best wishes to your boys in the Rose Bowl,” he tweeted.
In one corner of the gym this morning I was able to say "Hey, the three of us each went to Penn State." That got me to thinking about getting myself a B1G Championship shirt. That then got me thinking about getting the same shirt for my Wisconsin-graduate brother-in-law, who I will see at Christmas. Matt will love it, I'm sure.
