Joseph's vs. Hall's weight....

And John Smith wonders why so many of his kids get knocked off at NCAAs.
With the 3 day tournament and multiple weigh ins, at the end of the long season cutting hard, and with minimal bonus possibilities up and down the line up ------> Really no chance for errors. You have to wrestle a perfect tournament. Really the MAX you'll do is the Advancement and Placement points only. You really don't have any chance to go much higher. And, if you lose 1-2 wrestlers, you have no chance to make it up. 10 qualifiers means nothing in that situation.

If you have fresh guys, not hitting the cut hard (hard to believe Bo, Hall, Nolf or Zain have a hard cut if any at all), and can bonus, then a slip up can easily be overcome through the consi's with Bonus, or more bonus in the Champioship bracket. 32.5 bonus points overcomes a lot of miscues. We just happened to have the Semi Perfect storm (Cortez and Suriano will add to make it the Perfect Storm)

Lootttt of misinformation on this site about how quickly water weight can be regained. With the 2 pounds allowance and 5 hours until the match Bo Jo was probably 184-186 at max.
Clay. There you go bringing science and facts to a message board. Facts don't matter!!!!

And shouldn't you be working on that next podcast? I need some new ones for my morning run.

Keep up the good work. Thanks

"THAT. WAS. AWESOME." But yeah, 16 hours of sleep over 4 nights would've made for terrible podcasting on Sunday AM haha
The show would've been an hour of varying ways to say we can't believe what just happened. Still can't, but will try to put it in words tomorrow at some point

I say without fear of exaggeration that our guys performed about a trillion times better than I thought they would - and I figured they'd finish first in the first place

Not really. NObody said anything about regaining the weight. The point was BoJo was bigger than Hall. It is not rocket science.

If one wrestler drops 26 lbs and another drops 6lbs do you think they are both the same size?

They both weighed in at 176 max that day, you have to consider regaining the weight when you talk about size...
