I know my posts are naturally irresistible, but you had me on “ignore” for less than a week. Exhibit some discipline, young man!Are you fantasizing again?![]()
Bill Kenney is NOT coming back. He was part of Joe's staff so, unfortunately, that is strike one and two. Strike three is he is a pompous ass to boot.I would love for Bill Kenney to join the staff. He’s a great coach.
Number of Penn State football assistant coaches fired:Good to know that CJF will make any changes necessary to improve this team. I loved Joe, but it was a different world when he coached.
No Paterno rejects, please. That’s the last thing needed.Hmmmm. Ciarocca and Bill Kenney coached together for three years at WMU (2013-2016). Is Bill coming home to coach the OT’s.?
Actually (after watching the Bowl game replay several times) the CB young guns were a distinct improvement the second half. And yet Terry Smith survives.
Which positional group was worse during the second half of the season and in the bowl game?
The OL or the defensive secondary?
Yes! That would be perfect.Assuming Bowen is not the new OL coach, do we still like Mike Munchak?
Denver went 7-9, he’s 59, and PA is home. Then again I have no idea what top tier college OL coach pay is versus the NFL so I don’t know if PSU could be competitive.
I’ve always thought he’s done a heck of a good job with OLs but maybe I’m not fully tuned in.
IIRC Mike took the job in Denver so he could be closer to his kids/grandkidsAssuming Bowen is not the new OL coach, do we still like Mike Munchak?

He may not be a good coach as I know little about ol coaching but he is certainly not a pompous ass!Bill Kenney is NOT coming back. He was part of Joe's staff so, unfortunately, that is strike one and two. Strike three is he is a pompous ass to boot.
I can't ignore you. You're too annoying. It's part of this board's entertainment value. Even when I had you on Ignore I still would hit the view ignored content button just to keep up with your antics.I know my posts are naturally irresistible, but you only had me on “ignore” for less than a week. You mean, your voices. My sources are telling me Bowen is the guy.
And yet Terry Smith survives.

CJF not playing.
James has his man but will need to advertise the position before any announcement.
Very Surprised (with the caveat that I have no idea if there may be some issue(s) that I am not aware of)
I can't imagine that Bowen won't now take over the OL (he seems destined for bigger and better things over time)…… unless CJF has some "Sekrah-level" hire in mind![]()
I dealt with him when I coached, trust me, he is an arrogant, pompous ass.He may not be a good coach as I know little about ol coaching but he is certainly not a pompous ass!
Terry Smith is not Defensive Secondary. He is Corners. And to answer your question..."which positional group was worse....". I'd say Safeties were worse than the CBs. Let's just say that there are many times that it looks as if a CB is beaten, but it is deceptive because the CB is expecting help over the top from the Safety.
Run to daylight...Vince LombardiIt’s me. Franklin just hired me. My philosophy as an offensive line coach is pick up your man and block. With the running backs, my philosophy is find the hole and run through it.
I’ve got this. 2020 is our year.
And perhaps the fact that he was not chosen tells us how unhappy Franklin was with himMy sense is more Limegrover wanted the OC position, wasn't happy that he wasn't even chosen to call the offense in the bowl. As such, he felt he was at the very least third man down the OC totem pole. Next OL coach up!
I wonder if ML will join RR at old minion.Well... Rahne probably knew or felt he was gone and seeked outside ops ... Now Limegrover... good guy just the Oline underperformed maybe he can latch on with Rahne
I trust that Franklin knows what he’s doing and could get someone that may actually help with those guysNot that I was particularly fond of Limgrover as a coach, but I’m hoping this doesn’t impact the recruitment of Rucci, Tengwall, etc. in the ‘21 class. Although I think Bowen has been the most consistent staff member recruiting those guys.
The coaching turnover at WR had an impact on a local prospect’s decision last cycle. Unfortunate that changes on positional coaches have been parallel to the strongest positional group prospect-wise in our region the last two recruiting cycles.
If he was, he would fit in nicely right here. And by "here" I mean the BWI Board. He may not be a good coach as I know little about ol coaching but he is certainly not a pompous ass!

I thought the special teams coach was supposed to be the first one to leave? I'm confused.I told you Franklin reads this board and noted our displeasure with Limegrover. I'm sure he also read the Pry thread. I wonder if Pry is next?
