Lost my Uncle unexpectedly yesterday morning. Not a big football guy, but he loved to talk PSU football with me and his younger brothers, and caught games whenever he could. He use to spend all of his free time helping his brother on their family farm, including Saturdays. I started helping them back in 2003 during spring and summer when I could.

For the last 9 years though we have spent just about every single Saturday, year round together at the farm, missed a lot of games unless they were night games or late afternoon but we always tried to find a way to get the game on the radio or on my phone depending on what we were into that day.

It hasn't hit me yet, even though the season hasn't started but tomorrow is really gonna suck :(

Prayers to you all and sounds like you will have wonderful memories and yes he may not be there physically this fall but he will be right there with you listening to the games on saturdays at the farm

Though I have very little (if any) Irish ancestry, I'm fond of this particular saying:

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal...Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

In my own words - bless you my friend...thoughts and prayers to you and yours.
