....he has he work cut out as that Caffey is scary. Gonna be a brawl between two super athletic 84s
YES perfectly put Amalone!! AB has that rare desire, intelligence & ability to not just win but to dominate his opponents. I recall a young Jason Nolf in HS quoted as saying he just wants to dominate every opponent! Aaron seems to have no fear of losing and that is one of the many common denominators of the PSU greats. Every time we hear that our superstar wrestlers can't be replaced, an exceptional young man such as Aaron Brooks emerges to wow us. I have such immense pride to witness them representing the Penn State tradition that Cael, Cody, Casey & Jake haveAaron Brooks trajectory from where he started this season to now.... literally.... straight up. Kid only takes leaps.... not steps upwards. Sharing his name.... I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE KID!!! I root for him with that Bo and Jason fervor. Tonight... I went Jeff Byers Bananas... times ten.
The way he hit the cradle on Venz with lightening speed reminded me of how Bo Nickal cradled up Kollin Moore in last years dual. It was so quick. Then the roll through with such sick speed and incredible strength was scary... for Venz. The way AB finished... with relentless pursuit to deck Venz... a thing of beauty!!!
Add in his character and all should love this young man.
John, I can only imagine the excitement & pride you & Aaron's family & friends & coaches are experiencing. My son his just 10 yrs old and I am overflowing with pride in him. Thank you for sharing your emotions and PSU pride!!Man! That pin had us raising the RAC roof! These boys are wrestling well!! Tomorrow will be fun!
Raised the roof at my house also Mr. Brooks. My wife yelling to me... "Aaron what's going on?" My response.... "Aaron DID IT!!! Meaning Aaron pinned his opponent in the semi's. My son and I high fived somewhere between our computer (where I was watching the match) and where my roof used to be.Man! That pin had us raising the RAC roof! These boys are wrestling well!! Tomorrow will be fun!

You can see his confidence level growing every match. AB has a plan.

It appears domination runs in the family.
Here's the end of itAny video of the pin available? Had Byars on the radio and it was vintage IronHead!
I have it from a fairly reliable source that Mr. Brooks shopped his posting skillz around to the highest bidder and BWI won in the form of greatest number of promised likes...

LolololGotta admit, I'm pleasantly surprised by what AB has accomplished. Even moreso when I think about him being the same guy that Nelson Brands was gonna gas and destroy had they met.
I was there at the Wells Fargo Center talking to Cody Sanderson when it happened. Great memories that collectively will always be there when we need to bring them back.I was taken back about 9 years, a little down the NJ Turnpike and across the Delaware to another PSU 184 pounder locking up a standing cradle against an Iowa wrestler.
Very smart wrestler for a freshman. Reminds me a little bit of Marky with knowing where he is at on the mat going to enjoy watching him for the next few years.Congratulations AB. Great tournament! So smart and composed for a true freshman. Good luck in two weeks

Thanks, wanted to mention that there's also some RS's returning. Dean will be a Junior, so he's got two years of eligibility left. Also add in Dean coming off Oly redshirt. Not to mention the possibility of Amine moving up(no inside info, just speculation).
