What do our GOATs Ed, DT, Zain, Nolf, Bo, Cenzo and Mark have in common?
None were Big 10 Champs as a True Freshman. A testament to how hard that accomplishment is to achieve, and some of the enjoyment, awe and potential that lies ahead with our own AB!

Nor were Spencer Lee and Kyle Snyder -- both of whom wrestled as true freshmen.
Talk about a straw man argument. You can't win a title as a true frosh if you don;t wrestle. Of those you mentioned only Zain and Hall wrestled at BIGs as true frosh. The rest redshirted and DT & Ruth both won BIGs as redshirt frosh.

My heart is heavy for Aaron and his teammates and wrestlers from other schools. Stay safe and healthy. It has been a privilege watching him this year. Best of luck in future years. He's already a champion in my book.
