Marcus Blaze thread

Donovon Ball was at my house shortly after he committed to Penn State. I congratulated him and then said, "you know, it's going to be hard to find a mat up there". DBall's response was, "yep, I may never start, but I'm going to be on a National Championship team".

I've told this story a couple of times before, but it needed to be repeated.

This mindset is fine for some, but there are others who I think would rather start on a lesser team.

I think PSU does a great job keeping the second and third string guys happy and around. Not many can say they were on national championship teams. DBall has a few rings to prove it

No. Blaze has publicized nothing since May, and doesn't seem likely to until announcing.

It will be a new thread titled, "Blaze is coming to Penn State!" which will include multiple posts by the OP on why they can't reveal their sources or when the commitment will occur, how they don't want to steal the spotlight from Blaze and how you can take their scoop to the bank since their insider status is impeccable!

Ultimately, I don't believe a recruit is a Penn Stater until he dons the singlet and toes the line. It saves so much angst.

Blaze has been so low key I think even the head coaches to the schools of interest are gonna be busy refreshing their school’s enrollment web pages… Blaze has to be one of the most low key superstar recruitments I have followed, easily. Guy just doesn’t say a word to anyone, and he self promotes like a rock does.
