Since FLO went there today I thought I'd go on record. I know of zero instances of Mark losing to someone once he's figured out how to beat him. Zahid is a completely formidable opponent-so was Imar, Nolf, Chance, and BoJo.
Mark will find a way to beat everyone in his weight class this year period. If I am wrong please feel free to take the edge off the sting of the loss by mocking me. If I am right know that somewhere there is a combination of joy and smugness radiating from a front seat as I drive teenagers from one thing to another.

So, Mark is like a badass immune system. Once he has the antibody for you, you are toast! ;)

I am 100% confident in Mark. That being said, we'll see soon enough at the all-star classic. If Hall is a full sized 174 this year..watch out

I was kinda hoping that the ASC would end up being some sort of PSU vs the NCAA event, Ha! I'll be there nonetheless. The Hall-Valencia match alone will be worth the price of admission. Did they announce an opponent for Nevills yet?

Won't argue the winning vs losing aspect...it's just not how I look at it. Prepare the best one can, work hard, look to improve, eat right, sleep right, etc. etc. and the rest takes care of itself. Should a guy lose, go back to the room and continue to prepare, work hard, improve, and on and on. It never ends.

Hey Roar I think I understand your respect for process and a full effort over attachment to results and I mean no disrespect. What PSU wrestling teaches me every day is the idea of having fun while putting in a full effort. What could be better than a day spent that way? And as I've said before part of the fun of being a fan for me is making predictions. For example I think it will be
Penn State
Ohio State
Ok State this March not exactly going out on limb there : )

Recent Hall interview from Trackwrestling:

"NCAA champion Mark Hall will face Zahid Valencia on Nov. 5 at 174 pounds in the NWCA All-Star Classic. Hall talks about the matchup, their controversial NCAA semifinal last year and how the new international weights will shape his future."
