Yes I’m sure Cael and our team are learning a few things from Ono as well. Whether he’s on the team or the NLWC he’s a huge help to our program.
I wouldn’t rule out the possibility. But I could see him wanting to be around the team as much as possible, learning from each other, grinding every day. Maybe even just for one year would be beneficial.
He can do the Kyle Snyder schedule back when he was a Buckeye. Wet his beak with about 10-15 folkstyle matches while competing in free as his schedule dictates.

I don’t think anyone is sweating matchups, Vito was a tier above the current field, and Ono walked Vito like a dog. The Crookham vs. Ono match would be fun though.
I don’t see Crookham as much of a challenge for Ono, but Crookham is funky, I think it would be an entertaining match.
Don’t get me wrong. Watching our guys win by major is entertaining as hell to me.

That’s where Stanich was wrestling at. I can’t see the “top dog” leaving his weight, but maybe Ono coming in makes him go up.

Assuming you are correct I would then have to assume based on the Stevenson/Ferrari eligibility model that he gets an automatic ORS year for 2024 which should give him a 3rd year.
