Dude is just grasping at straws. There is no way Ono will be on campus, taking classes with eligibility and Cael won’t have him strapping up.

I imagine there were quite a bit of hurdles to clear to get Ono into PSU. Brantt basically said it has been in the works for months. Maybe there's more red tape to clear for eligibility purposes but I doubt it's anything tougher than getting him into school (which was the hard part with Sakamoto at Ok State) Ono is pretty young also (U20 eligible this year)

That's definitely going on. Bo and Jax were the biggest prizes in the media recruiting circus this year with Bo even having a social media spectacle with a countdown and elimination game and pictures shoveling snow. Who did Cael end up with? Blaze and Ono. Who out of everyone are going to be the best wrestlers and have the best careers? Blaze and Ono. 5D chess...
Zach Seyko on Locked on Nittany Lions in a video he posted last night said that he asked around and it seems Ono is going to train at NLWC and not wrestling at PSU. No idea how locked in he really is though.
I think he's wrong, mainly because Ono didn't have to be a "student" to train at NLWC. But who knows until it happens.
If that is true and he’s only here to train with NLWC, I assume (assume being the keyword) it’s easier for him to train at NLWC while being a student while meeting the visa requirements for an extended period of time.
That being said, i still find it very silly that he would transfer here to be a student and not wrestle for Penn State and just train at NLWC.
If he's going to classes this summer, it will get out.
He's 100% going to be taking classes obviously, he didn't apply to get in as a student to not do that.
I'm sure Cael prefers it under wraps until NCAA clearinghouse is done but nothing really can anymore since PSU's directory is public information.
