Verkleeren looks pretty similar to last season. Really difficult to watch.
Same old Verkleeren. Thought it might be different. Nope. Not this time.
Where did Rooks get a TD in 3P? I must have blinked & missed it?
I didn’t see it either. Was thinking they gave him stall points. Which would have been deserved
Yep, play defense for 6.5 minutes and try one big move the last 30 seconds. Same Verk.
Verk was robbed of 2 back points on the throw and that was a crap TD in the 3rd, but....
Watching Verk makes me want to slit my wrists. he can manage any match to a 1 point loss, vs a Top 4 guy or a non AA guy it makes no difference. He also had 2 dead nuts TDs and just didn't drive through.
I apologize to the collective but watching him has always been Chinese water torture. i would rather see Bartlett go balls out an lose every match than to see Verk manage his way to a Low AA at best more likely not. I respect and admire his dedication and ability to compete with his condition, but he lost that match 5 different ways and none of them acceptable.

Right, but 2pts? I can see one. I didn’t think it would have escalated that quickly.
It's pretty clear at this point Verk will always be what he is. He'll probably wrestle Top 20 guys to a 3-2 loss and non NQs to a 3-2 win.
Brady Berge, it is awesome to see you back!!!!! Some advice, more time training with Joe & Carter and less with Verk.

Could be a covid thing. Don't they have to get their heart checked or something? Remember Trevor Lawrence missed the first ND game because of Covid, but was on the sidelines.
Wow, so far with the exception of Nick Lee, Penn State does not look good. Nowhere even near championship level.

Isn't that who Berge has always been though? He's not a typical PSU bonus machine. He'll be in a lot of matches though. I wouldn't worry about him just yet.
The hyperbole and overreaction in this thread is a bit much. Just happy to see wrestling back here. Rust was always going to be the case when things started up again, given all the interruptions.
Watching BTN+ and listening to Ironhead; he is about 5 seconds ahead of the BTN+ guys.😞 No replays on the telecast sucks!
Worried for the board if Carter doesn't get a pin in the first period.
