Matt Lee gutted out a 10-7 win in the first round. He was down 7-5 in 3rd and hit a reverse and 3 nearfall. Extremely proud of Brailen, he wrestled well.

Matt wrestles Kris Rumph in Quarters.

Matt lost to Rumph 20-8, he will wrestle Connor Gimson in the consolations later this morning. If he wins he will wrestle for 5/6, if he loses he will wrestle for 7/8.

Matt Lee lost 5-4, he will wrestle for 7th/8th later this afternoon. The top 4 guys and 6 of the 8 are Seniors. Matt is the lone Sophomore. Both Semi-finals and the other consolation semi-final went to OT. 2 of the 4 138 matches went to UTB.

Rumph is in the finals.

I believe the 5 of the top 6 guys are going to wrestle next year in college. Matt wrestled competitively with the best guys in Indiana.

It’s tough, my brother was a State Champ and I was further from it than Matt to put it mildly. It’s tough in so many ways , props to him for staying with it
