Why are they playing volleyball and NOT dodgeball? Is Cael on to something new?
That’s Cael for you, start a trend, and when other jump on, move to the next great thing.

On a side note, I love watching women’s VB. I would love to see the team play against the women, though I know it would never happen. It would be hysterical watching those guys, that we know are super tough, jumping and ducking out of the way of some of the attacks we know the women’s team is capable of!

There is no way I would want someone to stand infront of those spikes coming at them without having a clue of how to play volleyball.

I'd bet some of those balls are going 100mph

In the Cael presser, can anyone make out who the final question is about? Cael responds by noting that the wrestler mentioned is a SR, but I can’t make out his name even after several playbacks...not that it matters much, it was a pretty dry response, just curious though
“Cael, what do you expect from Hall?” 83% sure

I'm wondering with Hall having the flexibility to drop to 165 if that allows Cael some manuverbility against some of the tougher opponents. Example: Hall drops down to wrestle Marinelli, Joseph goes up.
The other point of interest, is I think they will give Rasheed a chance but if he is struggling with recovery and win streak and/ or tournaments are in question don't be surprised Brooks comes on the scene like Hall did.

If 25 and 49 are the open weights, I assume this dispels the talk about Beard challenging KC for 197, at least for the time being.

Big fan of Michael's, but I'm excited to watch KC this year. And excited to see Michael a year from now (if he does RS).

Cael did say we are helping Kyle with his weight management. Translation I wouldn't be surprised if we see Hoopes in the first match or two...

Are you sure? He's the next man up at 184 until Shak is ready to go.

that wasn't how i interpreted it for what it is worth. it was in the context of KC not being consistent 2 years ago. Unseeded to #3 placer. i thought he was saying that they hope KC can be more consistent this year because of the weight management practices at PSU and maybe some bad habits from previous.

Compared to Conel’s Stache, Evans’ belongs on the upper lip of a 15 year old kid from Glenolden at his first Judas Priest concert
Kyle is like "Movember?? Puhlease!"

Maybe. The do have Carmenatti listed as 297/Hwt but it would cost him a redshirt. Little risk there and he could always redshirt another year. Bottom line, 'listening' between the lines. I have a feeling Conel, a full year removed from wrestling, was probably 220 plus when he arrived and is still on a tough decent.

Cael's specific comment was "we are going to help him with his weight...", that's pretty innocuous other than all kids need weight management and this was his only reference when speaking to the whole lineup. The other thing Cael admitted was Shak had a torn ACL, did he ever confirm the specific injury last year, I didn't think so?

For someone who has been in the room for months and fully well knows he is wrestling at 197 I would be quite surprised if he is on a tough descent a few days before the first match. I agree with what aalion said before, the weight aspect seems more geared toward his inconsistent results 2 years ago.

Hoopes is a more likely 184 for a few duals until Shak is ready.

glenolden lol
Did I nail it?

I was weighing places like Upper Darby, Eddystone, and Prospect Park, but Glenolden seems the perfect place for a kid who dreams about going to a Metal Concert at the Spectrum in his Camaro while sporting a wispy mustache.

I once lifeguarded at a pool in Prospect Park. It was quite a scene. Lots of big-haired, shit-talking Interboro girls
