So taking out the "strength of schedule" argument because IMO if we win out we will in the CFP and if we don't we shouldn't be there anyway. I and many others i am sure really dislike both of these teams.
. Both have coaches who seem like knuckleheads
. both have arrogant fan bases
. both are almost always over rated by the national media
. both are really good institutions that we compete with regularly for recruits.
It seems to me like lately we have competed more directly [and lost] with scUM, but that changes from year to year. So which team losing would best help our recruiting or doesn't it really matter?
I want to root for UM simply because it may help us be ahead of ND for a New years 6 bowl but I'm not sure i can. I so much enjoy the UM meltdowns about Harbaugh.
