Midlands Day 2

Glory is going to give Spencer fits moving forward. If he takes Spencer down in the first he can beat him.

The problem with beating Lee is you're most likely down at least 10 before you have a chance.

I cannot believe they did not hit Spencer with a stall call. Glory absolutely worked him in the third and Lee laid there and did nothing. I think the final was 12-5. Glory rode Lee the entire 2nd and 3rd period.
I think it was 12-6. Stall point and RT point

It's not going to hurt Spencer in the long run to have some competition. A plus for Glory is that his ride was much more punishing. Those tilts rack up the points but didn't take much out of Glory.

Spencer chooses top next time and techs Glory.

hes spencer freaking lee....your telling me that Alpha of Alpha dogs should hide from a position?

IF thats the case your coaches will never add another team trophy to the mantle.

Now we both know TnT arent like that and will tell him to go down next time too.

Interesting to hear that Spencer Lee looked mortal for 2 of 3 rounds today. It's a testament to his domination that most of the chatter is about the guy who only lost 12-6 to Lee.

Well, Lee was outwrestled for two thirds of the match. Lee is incredible. He is outstanding on his feet and merciless on top. However, we've seen some other super studs come through over the last few years and we haven't seen any of them get worked like Lee was today. Pat Glory is REALLY good. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a Lee vs Glory final in March. My money is still on Lee but he's not unbeatable.

I swear, the practice time Iowa must allot to tying up, walking the opponent to the edge, and then attempting to gain a push out stall call must be incredible. The only wrestler that doesn't do this consistently is Spencer. For many, it seems to be their #1 option in neutral. With Terry in the background screaming for stalling with stamina not seen even from Gable.

Its unbelievable how consistent it is . And mind numbing as a spectator.

I’ll be interested to see if Teemer can get to Lugos legs the way he did against Sasso

Marinelli over Sheilds 3-1. Good ride for Alex in the first. I counted one shot taken by Marinelli . It was successful.

Marinelli rode him the rest of the first period and had over two min of riding time so 4-1 with RT. It was not an exciting match and Marinelli didn't have much offense but Shields is very good and Marinelli is tough.

How did Cassioppi lose? Stepped away for a minute and it was over.

If he's not in the parking lot with an opponents Dad employing the same game plan. Tied up ear to ear pushing and waiting for the parking enforcement guy to break it up and declare him the winner. The battle is everywhere, like brands says.
The challenge is the same every year. The battle is in-state. The battle is the Big 10 Conference. The battle is national. The battle is in the parking lot. The battle is planet Earth, well, except for State College. And if they find life out there, then the battle will be universal.
